Transportation Freight Payment Analyst

The Transportation Freight Payment Analyst at Ralph Lauren is responsible for managing the freight payment process, ensuring compliance with company requirements, and supporting North America freight payment activities. This role involves collaboration with various teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.

• Serve as the key point of contact with RL accounts payable and transport payment company.
• Ensure timely and accurate settlement statements with RL accounts payable.
• Work with RL nominated bank to settle statement of accounts.
• Resolve errors in the Freight Payment platform across all modes.
• Analyze and correct monthly and weekly error reports.
• Engage daily with carriers to resolve contract discrepancies.
• Develop and distribute reports as needed.
• Assist manager and team with special projects such as KPIs and data quality.
• Pay freight bills via RL nominated Bank and review exceptions.
• Participate in bi-weekly calls with FP provider to address outstanding issues.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Finance to support month-end closing activities.
• Lead internal and external audits from a transport perspective.

• 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• Effective communication skills with diverse groups.
• Proficiency in SAP and IDOC error resolution process.
• Intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work effectively in a team or project environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Strong time management skills and sense of urgency.
