Summary
The Vintage Timepiece Professional leads sales operations at the boutique in New York City and supports the Sales Manager across store and eCommerce channels. This role manages inventory workflow and eCommerce listing processes, produces and edits product content, and delivers exceptional client hosting and service in person and online. The position also assumes a training role as the department expands and partners with creative and store teams to drive sales and brand presentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead in-person sales operations at the NYC boutique, identify and develop sales opportunities, and host clients to deliver exceptional experiences
- Manage inventory workflow and ensure prompt turnaround for eCommerce listing of incoming products
- Oversee eCommerce listings: coordinate external vendors, write and edit product descriptions, format listings, and publish product pages
- Partner with Creative to manage product photography and develop creative content including videos, photography, and print materials
- Maintain CRM records and update sales appointments and client communications
- Assist management with pricing updates, in-store ticketing, and controllable expenses
- Support visual merchandising, floor coverage, loss prevention, store cash controls, and inventory management
- Train and act as a role model for departmental staff and partner store stakeholders; support events and business travel as needed
Requirements
- High school degree required; college degree preferred
- Previous experience in sales or marketing in luxury retail or equivalent; experience in eCommerce or online editorial preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and content creation proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; strong social media knowledge
- Organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work retail hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, stand/walk for extended periods, and travel as necessary
