Visual Associate

Summary

Under direction of the Visual Manager, the Visual Associate creates engaging visual environments in store, executes merchandising and window displays, and maintains mannequins and presentation standards to support visual initiatives and sales readiness.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain window displays and in-store visual presentations according to standards.
• Execute promotional and sale set ups including lettering and signage on the sales floor.
• Assist with trunk shows and personal appearance set ups and preparation.
• Replenish merchandise on the selling floor and in wall units.
• Use carpentry and painting skills for display construction and maintenance.
• Assist Sales Support Team and perform ad hoc visual tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years visual team experience in a major multi level department store with a portfolio of projects.
• Ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Experience in painting techniques and basic production knowledge of materials.
• Experience in styling and fashion pulls and strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Photoshop and Illustrator preferred.
