Summary

The Visual Merchandiser creates and implements eye-catching fashion presentations that reflect current trends and store standards. This role partners with department managers to maintain and teach visual standards, supports merchandising and signing, and customizes displays for the store. The position requires flexibility in schedule to meet store and department needs and hands on installation of displays and props.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and current trends
• Partner with department managers to uphold teach and maintain visual standards
• Support merchandising signing and implementation of directional displays
• Install and remove trim and window presentations for promotional events
• Support execution of the in store lighting program
• Customize visual presentations to suit store needs and departmental direction
• Use tools and ladders to assemble and install props and displays

Requirements

• Experience in merchandising and styling with knowledge of current fashion trends
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic construction skills in building and assembly of visual props preferred
• Ability to use ladders drills box knives and other miscellaneous tools
• Computer proficiency and comfort learning new applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs
