Summary

Curating Associate focused on visual merchandising for a luxury home gallery, responsible for executing creative vision and maintaining visual standards to elevate the client experience and drive sales. Role requires a refined eye for design, polished appearance and collaboration with gallery leadership and corporate partners. Part-time position based in the Newport Beach Gallery at Fashion Island.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandise floor sets and uphold visual integrity of the gallery
• Coordinate with Gallery Leadership Team, Curators and corporate partners to implement creative vision
• Train and mentor gallery team on floor sets, quality and visual standards
• Maintain gallery maintenance, recovery and cleanliness
• Read and audit planograms and visual maps and offer creative input
• Assist in maintaining inventory integrity and request replacements
• Learn and communicate design ethos, product assortment and product care
• Drive team engagement and accountability to achieve results

Requirements

• 2+ years of visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or related field
• Excellent technical ability with platforms to track inventory and request replacements
• Strategic, highly organized and results oriented
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and solve problems creatively
• Proficiency with Mac OS, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform prolonged standing and physical tasks
