Job Description

Summary

Perform high quality diagnostic and repair work on quartz and mechanical timepieces following manufacturer specifications. Assist management in coordinating the service department while maintaining calibrated tools and an organized work area. Work a Monday to Friday 40-hour schedule with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Test timepieces for accuracy and performance
  • Visually inspect components for damage and perform casing and decasing
  • Perform movement adjustments and bracelet adjustments
  • Complete full polishing and battery replacements
  • Develop or use tools and processes to resolve repair issues
  • Manage repairs including intake, follow up, and completion
  • Maintain tools and equipment calibration and cleanliness
  • Provide client interaction and technical communication

Requirements

  • One year of technical school training or 2+ years professional experience; preferred 3-5 years in luxury timepieces
  • Experience diagnosing quartz and mechanical movements
  • High level of dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work seated for extended periods
  • Highly organized, able to manage workload and work under pressure
  • Basic verbal and written English and basic computer knowledge preferred
  • Ability to repair and refinish cases and bracelets is a plus
