Watchmaker

Summary

The Watchmaker is responsible for complete servicing and repair of mechanical and quartz timepieces following established protocols and quality standards. This role performs diagnostics, timing regulation, assembly and final testing of Breitling models and related movements while working closely with management on repairs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete service of mechanical and quartz Breitling models including in-house, ETA and modular chronograph movements
• Test timepieces for accuracy and performance using specialized tools and equipment
• Regulate timing and perform escapement and hairspring adjustments
• Disassemble and assemble cases and bracelets with precision
• Set dials and hands adhering to tight manufacturing tolerances
• Record quantities, serial and model numbers and work performed
• Work closely with local management to ensure quality control standards
• Assist management with specific temporary projects as needed

Requirements

• WOSTEP, SAWTA, AWCI 21 or similar watchmaking certification
• 2 - 3 years of watchmaking experience
• Experience with escapement and hairspring adjustments
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Computer knowledge for record keeping and diagnostics
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods and willingness to work overtime if needed
• High flexibility and team oriented work approach
