The Webber applies webbing to the seats of upholstery wood frames according to product specifications and required tension. This role works on the manufacturing floor using hand tools and follows production tickets and quality standards. The position requires attention to detail, consistent attendance, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Apply webbing material to wood upholstery frames to specified tension
• Use hand tools such as staple gun, mallets, hammers and staple pullers
• Read and follow production tickets and quality specifications
• Perform other duties as required, including tasks outside the regular work area

Requirements

• Minimum six months experience in a similar role with knowledge of upholstery products
• Adequate communication skills to interact with team members
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision and maintain punctuality
• Physical ability to stand, twist, stoop, kneel, squat, bend and climb for prolonged periods
• Ability to consistently lift and mobilize furniture and accessories in excess of 100 pounds using appropriate equipment and safety guidelines
