Summary
Fabricate high-end gold and platinum jewelry to Tiffany quality standards, supporting high jewelry production through precise manufacturing, assembly, repair and finishing tasks while following workshop procedures and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Support construction of new and repeatable high jewelry products per project timelines
- Perform cast cleaning assembly and repair of platinum and gold jewelry of varying complexity
- Handle all diamonds and precious stones ensuring protection and avoiding damage
- Follow directions from peer coach and management and adhere to prescribed routing steps
- Use appropriate tooling and maintain quality standards and standard times for completion
- Communicate project status issues and potential barriers to manager
- Verify accuracy of work orders including tracking location and high value components
- Comply with security procedures and put away materials and work orders before exiting
Requirements
- Bench experience in high end jewelry manufacturing
- Knowledge of complex jewelry construction polishing and precious metal properties
- Organizational interpersonal and partnership skills
- Ability to communicate issues clearly and interact with clients and staff at multiple levels
- Ability to work overtime to support business needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Accredited jewelry certification preferred
- Experience with jewelry polishing processes preferred
