Summary

The Engraver and After Service Jeweler supports Cartier's New York workshop by engraving client and stock pieces and repairing jewelry. The role contributes to timely client service and production goals while maintaining workshop equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Engrave client and stock pieces, perform laser cutting as needed, and ensure delivery timelines meet brand standards.
• Repair and service jewelry, including sizing chains and rings, reshaping pieces, soldering, polishing, and laser engraving.
• Meet standard operation time and service level objectives.
• Maintain engraving machines, tools, and the workshop; troubleshoot equipment issues with the Customer Service Technician.
• Manage assigned precious metals and train team members as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; education in jewelry making or repair preferred. A bachelor's degree or jewelry manufacturing qualification is a plus.
• Two to three years of jewelry making or repair experience required; laser engraving experience is a plus.
• Ability to read technical drawings and balance fonts on surfaces.
• Problem-solving, communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime on weekdays or weekends as needed.
