We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven individual to join our team as a Women’s Wholesale Sales Director. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 10 and driving sales of our luxury Italian fashion brand to key accounts, with a focus on Bergdorf Goodman. You will work closely with our team in Italy to develop and execute sales strategies, build and maintain relationships with key accounts, and achieve revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 10 wholesale sales professionals, including coaching and development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets in the US market
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, with a focus on Bergdorf Goodman
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities for growth in the US market
- Analyze sales data and provide regular reports on performance and progress towards goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in wholesale sales, with a strong focus on women’s RTW
- Significant experience working with high-end department stores, with a focus on Bergdorf Goodman
- Strong knowledge of the US market and trends
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a sales team, including team development
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in Italian is preferred
