SummaryAs an Account Executive at CHANEL, you will play a crucial role in supporting and developing Multi Brand Retail sales through education and motivation of store sales staff. You will be responsible for executing CHANEL business objectives, promotional programming, upholding brand image, and talent development at the store level.
Responsibilities- Execute business strategies to achieve CHANEL business objectives.
- Monitor retail sales and hold Counter team accountable to meeting established retail sales objectives.
- Establish in-store time with Counter teams and Store leadership to ensure alignment to CHANEL business objectives, sales plans, product launches, and special events.
- Partner with Business Managers and Counter Manager to develop a client strategy focusing on new client recruitment and developing a loyal client base.
- Foster strong relationships with Retail leadership to ensure CHANEL is well-positioned within each department.
- Plan, communicate, and execute all in-store events in partnership with Market Director, Education, and other corporate partners.
- Manage a budget and adhere to Company policies and procedures.
- Recruit and develop Counter teams with a focus on succession planning.
- Provide orientation training/onboarding for new hires using company-approved platforms and materials.
- Model behavior with side-by-side coaching on service ritual, application techniques, and all facets of the clientele system.
- Ensure Brand Image is upheld within the territory by leveraging available tools and providing feedback/training to Counter teams.
- Communicate any counter issues or concerns to Corporate to address deficiencies.
Requirements- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with tools such as Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Travel requirement of approximately 50%-75%, must be New York based.
- Ability to lift at minimum 40 pounds.
