Alterations - Store Support - Los Cerritos Center

Summary

Provide excellent customer service at point of sale and by phone while supporting alterations and store operations. Maintain a neat sales floor and cash wrap, assist with order fulfillment and pickup, and stay current on product trends to help customers. Be flexible to support other areas of the store and work a schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers over the phone and at checkout with sales, returns and transactions
• Maintain fast friendly service by listening to customer needs and advising on products
• Keep department runway ready by straightening, light cleaning and restocking
• Support order fulfillment and order pick up as needed
• Build customer relationships by informing about events gift cards and rewards
• Stay informed on fashion trends and product knowledge
• Perform physical tasks including bending reaching lifting and handling merchandise

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization problem solving and follow through
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new applications
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Capable of continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift and frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
