Asset Protection - Agent - East Coast Fulfillment Center

Summary

The Supply Chain Asset Protection Agent supports loss prevention, safety, and security initiatives at the East Coast Fulfillment Center to safeguard company assets and employees. The role conducts access control and security screenings, audits physical security infrastructure, performs facility walks, and assists with investigations of shrinkage and incidents. The agent responds to alarms, documents incidents, and partners with investigators, managers, and local law enforcement as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet building personnel and monitor entry/exit using identification badges and electronic screening (walk-through and handheld metal detectors).
• Perform visual searches of carry-in items and enforce security screening procedures.
• Audit and monitor physical security systems including intrusion detection, access control, cameras, and respond to alarms.
• Conduct daily interior and exterior facility inspections; document findings and implement corrective actions.
• Review video footage for investigations, complete incident/accident documentation, and escalate to investigators or managers.
• Support opening/closing procedures, special projects, and initiatives to reduce inventory shrink.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of customer-facing experience, ideally in loss prevention, security, or risk management.
• Supply chain or facility experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and respond effectively to safety and security issues.
• Ability to work weekends and/or overnight shifts as required.
