Asset Protection Investigator - Short Hills

Summary

As an Asset Protection Investigator you will work on-site in the assigned store to prevent losses from external and internal theft and fraud. You will report to the Assistant Loss Prevention Manager and support store efforts to protect people, products, and profits while maintaining safety and assisting in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general safety of customers employees and the store
• Assess and assist in emergency situations
• Perform monitoring and surveillance to identify theft and fraud indicators
• Conduct internal and external investigations documenting incidents
• Prepare reports for theft incidents merchandise recoveries accident investigations and audits
• Reduce and control inventory loss through audits and training
• Support and participate in store operations programs

Requirements

• Experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection
• Customer focused mindset
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer software proficiency
• Investigative and conflict management skills
• Ability to respond to changing directions and unexpected situations
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on store needs
