Asset Protection Practitioner

Summary

Protect store assets, customers, and colleagues while supporting shortage reduction and safety programs. Use investigative skills, technology, and reporting to strengthen asset protection and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support asset protection plans and shortage reduction programs.
• Build partnerships with store colleagues, leadership, law enforcement, mall management, and legal counsel.
• Train colleagues on theft mitigation, operational compliance, and safety procedures.
• Use reporting and security technology to monitor compliance and drive improvements.
• Help maintain a safe environment and meet safety, shortage, and audit goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of asset protection or loss prevention experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of alarms, EAS, CCTV, and lock and key systems.
• Ability to work with all levels of management and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
