Asset Protection Practitioner - Roosevelt Field

Summary

The Asset Protection Practitioner is responsible for protecting store assets, ensuring the safety of customers and associates, and deterring theft and fraud at the retail location. The role conducts investigations, documents incidents, and partners with store management and local law enforcement. This position is full-time and operates on the retail floor and in back-of-house areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patrols and monitor surveillance systems to detect and deter theft and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and prepare clear, factual incident reports.
• Apprehend or detain subjects in accordance with store policy and local law, and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
• Work with store management to identify loss trends and implement corrective inventory control measures.
• Preserve and secure evidence, maintain chain of custody, and support prosecutions or civil actions as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of retail asset protection, loss prevention, security, or related experience preferred.
• Strong observational, investigative, and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers, associates, and law enforcement.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly to incidents; valid driver’s license preferred.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
