Asset Protection Visual Security Officer - Roosevelt Field

Summary

Provides visual security and loss prevention support at the Roosevelt Field store to protect merchandise, customers, and employees. Conducts continuous surveillance of the sales floor and common areas, reports incidents, and partners with store management and law enforcement as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales floor, entrances, and perimeter for suspicious activity and potential theft.
• Conduct visual surveillance and observe customer and associate behavior to detect loss risks.
• Respond to incidents, detain suspects when appropriate, and coordinate with management and police.
• Document incidents, maintain detailed reports and logs, and provide testimony when necessary.
• Support safety procedures, security audits, and loss prevention initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong observational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods; flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Prior retail loss prevention or security experience preferred.
