Asset Protection Visual Security Officer - Chestnut Hill

Summary

Provides a visible security presence on the sales floor to deter theft and ensure a safe shopping environment at the Chestnut Hill store. Monitors customer activity, reviews surveillance, and responds to incidents in accordance with store policy. Coordinates with store management and local law enforcement when necessary to protect people and merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible floor presence and conduct routine patrols of the sales floor and perimeter.
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems to identify suspicious activity.
• Investigate incidents, complete detailed incident reports, and preserve evidence.
• Apprehend or detain suspected shoplifters in accordance with company policy and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Support inventory protection initiatives and safety procedures across the store.

Requirements

• 2+ years of loss prevention, security, or related retail experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for entire shifts and to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong observational and communication skills; able to interact professionally with customers and staff.
• Must be able to pass a background check and legally work in the United States.
