Part-time Asset Protection Visual Security Officer responsible for deterring loss, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting store operations through visible security presence. The role focuses on observation, reporting, and collaborating with store leadership to reduce shrink and protect assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence on the sales floor and around store perimeter
• Observe and report suspicious activity and potential theft incidents
• Assist with investigations and documentation of loss prevention incidents
• Work with store team to ensure safety protocols are followed
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems as directed
• Engage customers and staff in a professional and approachable manner
• Support opening and closing security procedures
• Coordinate with law enforcement when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Strong observational and reporting skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in confrontational situations
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of loss prevention practices and procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow store policies and security protocols
