Summary
The Assistant Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Manager in all aspects of boutique operations, sales development, team leadership, visual standards and customer experience. This role helps achieve sales objectives, develop and coach the sales team, and manage daily store operations in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Support sales team and maintain floor coverage to deliver a luxury customer experience
- Partner with Boutique Manager to monitor performance goals and implement adjustments
- Resolve client situations and escalate to Boutique Manager when necessary
- Develop and maintain client relationships and leverage sales opportunities
- Lead the boutique in the absence of the Boutique Manager and foster a professional team environment
- Conduct coaching sessions and assist in development and onboarding of sales staff
- Manage timekeeping, payroll tasks and support daily store operations
- Maintain inventory accuracy and execute loss prevention initiatives
- Assist with visual merchandising and execution of special events
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years retail experience
- Previous high end watch or luxury retail sales experience preferred
- Strong organization, communication and follow up skills
- Results oriented, self motivated and able to achieve management defined goals
- Flexible team player able to work in a demanding environment
- Ability to understand sales, budgets, goals and scheduling
- Computer proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
