Assistant Gallery Leader

Summary

The Assistant Gallery Leader provides leadership to cross-functional teams and ensures a luxury customer experience in a high-end furniture gallery. This role supports the leadership team, drives execution of strategy, coaches and develops staff, and upholds quality and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Coach, lead and develop gallery teams to promote a positive and dynamic environment
• Represent the brand through polished communication and professional appearance
• Attract and hire talent for gallery roles
• Support leadership with new initiatives and training
• Lead by example to inspire and support Gallery Associates
• Recognize and respond to complex priorities and operational needs
• Ensure execution of visual and service standards across the gallery
• Embrace change and deliver results with a positive attitude

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in high-end furniture design showrooms or luxury retail
• Interior design experience preferred
• Superior organization and leadership skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proven ability to motivate and influence others
• Commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficient with current technology such as iPads Mac and PC
