Summary

The Assistant Sales Department Manager supports the department manager in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences for the lingerie department. This role focuses on coaching the team, executing business plans to meet productivity goals, maintaining merchandising standards, and managing inventory and shrinkage.

Responsibilities

• Recruit hire train develop and motivate department sales team
• Assist department manager in achieving department volume and productivity goals
• Develop and execute business plans to meet sales targets
• Coach and lead by example to ensure outstanding customer service
• Actively sell on the floor to build customer relationships and loyalty
• Ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met
• Assist with accurate inventory management and meeting shrinkage goals
• Collaborate with department and store managers and retail merchandisers

Requirements

• Proven track record of sales results and strong productivity
• Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a commission based environment
• Ability to set and achieve sales goals
• Experience developing and maintaining productive relationships with leaders
• Strong organizational and follow through skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
