Assistant Manager Operations

As an Assistant Manager Operations at Saks New York, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations function within the boutique. You will ensure the smooth running of operations to enable the ultimate client experience, working closely with the Operations Manager and Boutique Leaders.

• Manage all operational functions within the boutique, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, alterations, facilities management, security, resource planning, compliance, and expense management.
• Collaborate with the Home Office Retail Operations team to develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiency.
• Lead and inspire operationally aligned staff to deliver flawless service.
• Foster a positive working environment and create a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork.
• Act as the expert on all Standard Operating Procedures, systems, and tools for the boutique team.
• Assist in managing the budget and forecasting expenditures for the boutique.

• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
