Assistant Manager, Sales Beauty

Summary

The Assistant Manager, Sales Beauty supports the Manager, Sales by supervising and coaching store associates to achieve luxury sales and service standards. The role spends the majority of time on the selling floor resolving customer issues, supporting training initiatives, and contributing to merchandising and inventory performance. The Assistant Manager helps recruit, develop and motivate the team while maintaining operational and presentation excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales floor supervision and spend majority of time on the selling floor
• Coach and train associates to maintain luxury service standards and achieve targets
• Resolve customer issues and escalate as required
• Assist in recruitment, selection and onboarding of associates
• Assign work, provide feedback and support performance assessments
• Support launch and maintenance of selling tools and training programs
• Provide input on inventory performance, merchandising presentation and customer trends
• Maintain health & safety and high standards of merchandise presentation

Requirements

• 1-3 years supervisory experience with accountability for sales and service
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and profit targets
• Retail selling experience in a luxury environment preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Adaptable, customer-focused and able to lead by example
