Assistant Operations Manager - South Coast Plaza

As an Assistant Operations Manager at South Coast Plaza, you will be responsible for managing the non-selling functions of the boutique, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company policies. You will work closely with the Boutique Management to oversee payroll, POS functions, shipping and receiving, loss prevention, and facilities maintenance.

• Oversee compliance with company policies and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property.
• Train and manage associates in operations tasks such as POS procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate with central distribution and Corporate inventory control.
• Ensure security and safety compliance of physical facilities.
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and maintain operational reports.
• Manage payroll processes and scheduling of associates.
• Provide outstanding customer service and solve operational problems.
• Lock and secure the store, ensuring compliance with opening/closing procedures.

• 5+ years of retail store management experience with a strong operations background.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise.
• Willingness to adhere to company policies and standards.
