Responsibilities- Oversee technical operations related to plastic injection molding, including process optimization and maintenance.
- Manage a team for the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Lead operational excellence and continuous improvement projects.
- Create strategies and provide tactical guidance to meet budget requirements.
- Coach team on Lean tools and Six Sigma methodologies for problem-solving.
- Influence decisions by building positive relationships with extended team members.
- Analyze new product/process handoffs and negotiate paths forward when requirements are not met.
- Manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Create a 3-5 year vision for the team with cross-functional leadership.
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years of management experience in plastic injection molding, moldmaking, and toolmaking.
- RJG Master Molder certification or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- 5+ years of experience managing budgets (CapEx, OpEx).
- 3+ years of automation exposure/experience.
- Experience using LEAN Six Sigma tools.
- Ability to coach and work with teams on Continuous Improvement activities.
