Job Description

Summary

The Assistant Planner supports inventory optimization, product demand forecasting, and efficient product flow within the beauty supply chain. This role partners with merchandising, sales, logistics, and store teams to improve product availability and retail performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning activities to optimize inventory levels and forecast product demand.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, sales, and logistics teams to support business objectives and product availability.
  • Provide store teams with timely insights on inventory, launches, and priorities to strengthen in-store execution.
  • Help ensure efficient product flow throughout the beauty supply chain.

Requirements

  • One to two years of experience in planning, inventory management, or a similar analytical role, preferably in beauty or retail.
  • Experience or education in supply chain management, merchandising, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical aptitude, strategic thinking, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and logical formulas.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in the beauty industry and awareness of current market trends.
