Assistant Store Manager - Bloomingdale's 59th Street

As an Assistant Store Manager at Bloomingdale's 59th Street, you will lead the store team in partnership with the Store Manager to achieve company objectives. Your role will focus on customer service excellence, client development, visual merchandising, and operational standards. You will also be responsible for staff recruitment, training, and development, and will oversee the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

• Set the example for exceptional customer service and store standards.
• Drive and motivate the team to achieve sales goals and store KPIs.
• Ensure the store team is fluent in product knowledge and brand values.
• Identify opportunities in product, sales, and team development.
• Coach and guide the store staff to achieve individual sales goals.
• Lead clienteling activities and ensure customer experience is prioritized.
• Conduct store meetings and ensure staff adherence to wardrobe standards.
• Open and close the store and conduct all opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are consistently upheld.
• Process merchandise movements and manage timekeeping for the store staff.

• 3-4 years experience in retail sales or related field, with at least 2 years of supervisory responsibility.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office) and retail system skills.
• Ability to relocate is preferable.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent required; College Degree Preferred.
• Core competencies include ability to multi-task, build effective teams, and drive for results.
