Summary
Lead the sales floor to deliver a memorable customer shopping experience while driving revenue and profit for the store. Partner with the General Manager to support team development, execute merchandising and promotional strategies, and uphold company standards and loss prevention procedures.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and profit performance for the store or department.
- Work with management to develop and monitor operating budgets and sales goals.
- Establish individual sales goals and supervise sales staff to maximize performance.
- Coach and mentor staff to maintain exceptional customer service standards.
- Execute visual presentation initiatives and maintain in-store environment.
- Implement loss prevention and asset protection procedures to reduce shrink.
- Recruit, supervise, and develop store personnel and ensure roles are filled timely.
- Provide feedback to buying and allocation teams on merchandise performance.
- Support execution of promotional strategies and programs to meet sales objectives.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for maintaining an elevated brand image and customer experience.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
- Analytical skills and business or financial acumen.
- Relevant retail work experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred.
- Ability to operate register and be on foot for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and climb a ladder as trained under safety guidelines.
