Summary
The Sales Manager owns the sales experience within the store, drives sales growth through development of client advisors, and ensures exceptional customer service and operational excellence. This role leads recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and collaboration with cross functional partners to build strong client relationships and achieve departmental goals.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new hires to build talent bench
- Train develop and coach direct reports on selling skills and clienteling
- Manage performance evaluations provide feedback and mentor associates
- Lead scheduling and daily prioritization aligned to promotional calendar
- Drive client acquisition and retention through outreach events and social selling
- Use clienteling tools and data to identify opportunities and increase wallet share
- Collaborate with store leadership marketing vendors and merchants on in store initiatives
- Ensure audit compliance and maintain operational controls in department
- Champion change initiatives and share best practices to improve performance
Requirements
- Supervisory experience managing a team of direct reports
- Proven track record achieving sales and operational results in retail
- Proficiency with clienteling tools social media and Google Workspace
- Excellent oral and written communication and attention to detail
- Ability to stand bend climb stairs and lift up to 10 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Luxury retail fashion experience preferred
- Four year degree preferred
- Comfortable working in a remote environment
