Job Description

Summary

The Group Sales Manager leads and develops selling teams to drive sales and deliver an elevated customer experience. Reporting to the General Manager, this role models clienteling behaviors, coaches Selling Managers, oversees talent development, and supports store marketing and product education to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive clienteling culture and use of technology to increase sales and engagement
  • Coach and develop Selling Managers to model selling and clienteling behaviors
  • Maintain strong on floor presence to support sales and service
  • Provide ongoing product education to selling teams
  • Oversee and develop Selling Managers for promotion and succession
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent Development to place top talent
  • Manage substandard performance and partner with Employee Relations as needed
  • Support marketing outreach and achieve event goals through team coaching
  • Perform ad hoc responsibilities to support store operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience with a retailer
  • Proven ability to develop, manage and motivate a sales team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and selling technology
  • Full mobility required
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching and leadership skills
  • Analytical and creative problem solving abilities
  • Four year degree preferred
