Associate Apparel Designer

Summary

Associate Apparel Designer responsible for creating original saleable concepts including style color and fabric under direction from senior design leadership. This hybrid role is based at the downtown Seattle headquarters with a mix of on-site and remote work and requires strong trend awareness and a portfolio of design work.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and sketch design ideas based on direction from Senior Designer
• Prepare and present design sketches to cross-functional partners
• Collaborate with design team and cross-divisional partners
• Support Senior Designer in preparation for key milestones
• Research trends and competitive brands and report findings
• Maintain and develop original saleable concepts encompassing style color and fabric

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design
• Minimum 2 years experience in design industry
• Strong design portfolio and or resume
• Clear effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to hand sketch and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to adapt to new technology and systems
• Strong time management and multi tasking skills
