Associate Audit And Control

Summary

The Associate, Audit And Control performs switchboard, general office, accounts payable and daily balancing functions within the Cash Office and executes internal services for the store including procedural inquiries and employee parcel and bag check. This role supports financial reconciliation, auditing and compliance activities to protect assets and ensure accurate financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls and route or deliver messages following company standards
• Maintain and update the location phone directory
• Oversee repairs of technical systems such as point of sale
• Provide financial support including banking reconciliation and petty cash management
• Code invoices and manage chargeback investigations
• Manage Customer’s Own Goods and No Inventory Value tracking
• Perform department audits of policies and procedures and follow up to ensure compliance
• Maintain general office practices to mitigate loss and keep workplace tidy
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years previous work experience in a similar environment; retail preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint and Word
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle financial reconciliation and audit tasks accurately
• Understanding of privacy policies regulations and cyber security measures
