Summary
The Associate Buyer, Shoes supports the Buyer to manage collection buys and inventory for multiple retail channels. This role performs extensive data analysis and reporting to recommend actions that drive business and align assortment to global strategy.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Buyer to build assortment selection, quantities, and store allocations
- Prepare weekly Excel reports and conduct sales and KPI analysis
- Monitor market trends within the luxury environment
- Partner with Retail team to meet yearly sales plans
- Manage reorders and inter-store transfers
- Execute consolidations to ensure profitability and satisfy market needs
- Monitor and process seasonal price changes
- Assist with product flow and pricing for outlets
- Provide support for ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in buying roles, preferably in luxury retail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong organization, rigor, and multitasking skills
- Business acumen and understanding of sales and performance KPIs
- Strong analytical skills and product sensibility
- Excellent communication skills including presentations
- Good digital and IT skills including MS Office
- Knowledge of fashion industry and market trends
- Ability to work cross-functionally and travel as needed
