Summary
Lead and support dining room operations within the Design Gallery hospitality program, partnering with the Hospitality Leader to deliver service and operational excellence and to develop team members. This role focuses on driving the guest experience, operational compliance, and contributing to financial performance through labor and sales management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop team members through training and in-the-moment coaching to maintain dining room service standards
- Partner with the Hospitality Leader on recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and team building
- Implement and uphold quality and safety standards across hospitality spaces
- Engage with guests and act as a resource for team members to ensure a seamless experience
- Support financial goals by assessing labor and sales performance and implementing revenue-enhancing practices
- Create strategic team schedules to optimize business and client experience
- Assume full leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Hospitality Leader
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hospitality leadership experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant or equivalent
- Proven ability to manage financial performance including labor and food costs and inventory controls
- Experience with computer systems such as Microsoft Excel, inventory management, and point of sale systems
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across leadership levels
- Legal authorization to work in the country at time of application
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
- Ability to frequently move and lift items up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
