Summary
The Associate Manager Trade Marketing - Spirits translates brand strategy into commercial visibility and selling materials, creates brand programs, and serves as liaison between Brand Teams and Field and Trade Marketing. This role supports development of POSM, sell sheets, subchannel programs and manages agency partners to ensure cohesive execution.
Responsibilities
- Translate brand strategy into commercial brand standards and tactical guidelines for on and off premise channels
- Create core commercial program ideas, POSM, selling materials, event inspiration and mood boards
- Develop and update sell sheets and supporting documents for sales teams and distributor reps
- Engage and oversee third party agencies to ideate and produce materials
- Collaborate with Brand teams to ensure quarterly rollout of programs aligned to business needs
- Support Field Marketing and Customer Programming Leads on program details and material availability
- Incorporate consumer insights and trends into selling materials
- Manage multiple projects with strong planning and organization to meet commitments
- Provide commercial guidance to ensure subchannel playbooks align with brand positioning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience
- Minimum 3 years marketing or creative marketing experience in wines and spirits, CPG or retail
- Strong commercial strategy or sales experience with strategic orientation
- Experience with field marketing, planning, communications and influencing stakeholders
- Project management skills and ability to manage cross functional teams
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with information systems and digital platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects and details
- Authorization to work in the United States
