Summary
Support the Manager of Visual Merchandising to plan develop and implement visual merchandising directives across North America with focus on the West Coast. Drive consistent brand presentation through store visits collaboration with retail wholesale and marketing teams and adaptation of global visual direction to regional needs.
Responsibilities
- Execute visual merchandising changes for West Coast stores and wholesale locations
- Conduct weekly store visits to ensure VM standards are implemented and maintained
- Manage seasonal window and instore visual implementations working with vendors and contractors
- Compile review and provide feedback on store photos and VM planograms
- Support new store openings renovations and regional projects to align VM with timelines
- Provide VM training presentations to stores and new hires each season
- Coordinate setup and presentation for press events showroom and wholesale commercial showroom
- Partner with retail merchandising to ensure VM supports commercial goals
- Identify local VM opportunities and creative merchandising solutions for regional needs
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Fashion Merchandising Design or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in visual merchandising in a fashion retail environment
- Strong taste in merchandising styling fixture design and store layout
- Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize and meet fluctuating deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with domestic and international teams
- Willingness to travel monthly to West Coast Central region and as needed to North American stores
- Experience liaising with vendors contractors and managing installation timelines and budgets
