Summary
Senior IT leader responsible for implementing and supporting assortment planning, retail allocation and space planning systems to optimize product assortments and inventory productivity across the business. This role leads full lifecycle implementations, partners with cross functional business teams and vendors, and builds a high performing team to drive adoption and measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology implementation of allocation, assortment planning and space planning processes and tools.
- Drive full lifecycle implementations from requirements through rollout and user adoption.
- Partner with merchandising planning allocations and store operations to align tools and processes to business needs.
- Work with technology vendors and consulting partners to ensure successful delivery.
- Identify opportunities to streamline planning workflows and improve inventory productivity.
- Build and lead a high performing team and develop talent.
- Serve as subject matter expert for planning capabilities and best practices.
Requirements
- Approximately 15 years of relevant experience in allocation assortment planning or space planning.
- Hands on experience implementing or upgrading assortment planning or MFP systems such as o9 Impact Analytics Blue Yonder JDA Logility or Oracle.
- Deep understanding of retail planning processes inventory management and in store execution.
- Strong project leadership skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to drive change and deliver measurable business results.
