Summary
Lead and develop the overall brand and product merchandising strategy for the childrens division covering Boys Girls and Baby. Drive assortment development and commercial performance through regional partnerships market analysis and consumer data while partnering with creative design and production to deliver on brand vision.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual and seasonal merchandising strategies aligned with brand positioning and financial objectives
- Lead development of product briefs and pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability
- Analyze sales data market trends and consumer insights to inform seasonal line planning
- Partner with Creative Design and Production teams to ensure product aligns with brand vision and calendar
- Manage operational activities to bring product to market and identify efficiency opportunities
- Drive sku productivity and assortment efficiency to meet GM targets
- Build partnerships with Region and Channel Commercial teams to ensure consumer centricity
- Guide mentor and develop the merchandising team to foster high performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Fashion Merchandising or related field preferred
- Progressive apparel focused merchandising experience preferred
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability
- Excellence in team leadership and cross functional collaboration
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Experience with luxury or premium brands preferred
- Proficiency in merchandising systems and data analytics tools
