Summary
Lead and support building inspection maintenance and repairs for mechanical electrical plumbing and structural systems at the distribution center. Perform inspections repairs and preventative maintenance on interior and exterior building components and systems while ensuring safety and minimal disruption to operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical plumbing structural furniture fire life safety and control systems
- Conduct inspections and monitoring of building systems and respond to emergencies and after hours building activity
- Manage installations of new or replacement equipment and oversee outside vendor work
- Perform and delegate preventative maintenance tasks and maintain work order documentation including labor hours and parts used
- Order parts equipment maintain inventory and prepare purchase order requests
- Safely operate forklifts scissor and boom lifts and hand tools
- Recommend and estimate facilities repairs and improvements for budgeting
- Comply with safe storage usage and disposal of hazardous materials
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in building repair maintenance plumbing and basic electrical
- Experience with HVAC fluid handling pumping filtering mechanical systems welding and electrical systems
- EPA 608 Universal Technician Certification
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and knowledge of controls systems and PLCs
- Completion of applicable technical training program preferred
- Knowledge of power pneumatic and hydraulic tools and building automation systems preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and internet usage and strong written and verbal communication skills
