Summary
Provides outstanding customer service and builds individual and vendor line sales while maintaining customer relationships and merchandising standards. Works under the Cosmetics Selling Manager to drive personal business using clienteling tools, supports in-house training and pre-booked facial consultation events, and consistently closes retail sales. Acts as a brand expert on the sales floor and represents the department in interactions with account executives.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual vendor line sales goals and department sales targets
- Create and develop excellent customer relationships through expert product knowledge and consultations
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences from approach to application to sale closing
- Utilize online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences
- Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming selling area and proper counter merchandising
- Support pre-booked facial consultation events and in-house training programs
- Collaborate with team members and liaise with designated account executives
- Demonstrate professional make-up and treatment consultation and application
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience preferably in a cosmetics environment
- Proven sales experience with a track record of exceeding quotas
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and maintain relationships
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced team oriented environment with minimal supervision
- Proficiency or ability to learn online clienteling tools and proprietary software
- Attention to detail and initiative in maintaining standards and driving business
- Sound business judgment and organizational ability
