Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual cosmetic sales goals and department daily and monthly targets
- Provide dynamic in-person service and professional make up consultations and applications
- Use online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences
- Actively participate in social media to grow personal brand and business
- Ask questions to identify client needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Cross sell across brands to increase the client basket
- Proactively offer in-store services to personalize the shopping experience
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming counter presentation
- Perform ad hoc duties as needed to support the department
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience within the beauty industry
- Demonstrated successful sales history achieving or exceeding goals
- Comfortable using social media and technology for clienteling
- Ability to learn and use online clienteling tools and software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build client relationships
- Professionalism in appearance and presentation on the counter
- Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
