Summary
The Beauty Advisor provides elevated client service and personalized beauty consultations to drive cosmetics and fragrance sales. This role focuses on building client relationships, meeting individual and department sales goals, and utilizing digital tools and social media to grow business.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual cosmetic sales and department sales goals
- Provide dynamic in-store service and professional make up and treatment consultations
- Ask questions to identify client needs and recommend appropriate products and services
- Actively participate on social media to build personal brand and drive sales
- Utilize online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information
- Cross sell across product lines to increase client basket
- Maintain counter standards and a clean, welcoming space
- Collaborate with team and Account Executives to support store objectives
- Perform ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience within the beauty industry
- Demonstrated successful sales experience meeting or exceeding goals
- Comfortable using social media and technology for clienteling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide professional make up application and consultations
- Customer focused with ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Ability to learn and use online clienteling software
