Provide exceptional customer service in the cosmetics area by greeting and directing customers, assisting with product inquiries, supporting store operations, and making customer deliveries while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers and assist with cosmetic inquiries and product selection
- Provide information and directions regarding the cosmetics area to customers and employees
- Support overall store operations as a general resource for customers and staff
- Suggestive sell and connect customers to salespeople
- Make deliveries to customers as needed
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
- Maintain confidentiality and handle customer matters professionally
Requirements
- Clear and professional communication with coworkers and customers
- Ability to suggestive sell and refer customers to sales staff
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Physical ability to be on feet and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching to handle merchandise
- Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine manipulation
- Able to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
