Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager creates personalized beauty experiences while leading sales and education for an assigned brand at the counter. This role balances selling, coaching, and client relationship building both in-store and through digital channels. The manager oversees counter operations, vendor events, scheduling, and presentation to maximize business results.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product consultations tailored to customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive business results
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open customer accounts
• Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and customer-ready presentation

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and current industry trends
• Excellent ability to connect with customers, address concerns, and foster a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow-through, and coaching skills
• Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort with commission-based selling and digital outreach
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to be in continuous movement for 6-8 hours and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
