Manage and drive sales for an assigned luxury beauty brand at a retail counter by providing personalized makeup and skincare consultations, teaching product use, and delivering excellent customer service in a commissioned environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including sales, refunds, and exchanges
- Open new customer loyalty accounts to build customer following
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming inclusive environment
- Maintain counter organization and cleanliness to keep area customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty including trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to continuously stand and move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
