Summary

Manage and drive sales for an assigned luxury beauty brand at a retail counter by providing personalized makeup and skincare consultations, teaching product use, and delivering excellent customer service in a commissioned environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products based on customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
• Handle sales transactions including sales, refunds, and exchanges
• Open new customer loyalty accounts to build customer following
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming inclusive environment
• Maintain counter organization and cleanliness to keep area customer-ready
• Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings

Requirements

• Passion for beauty including trends, makeup application, and skincare
• Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
• Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
• Ability to continuously stand and move for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
