Responsible for leading sales and customer experience for an assigned beauty brand on the sales floor, combining selling and teaching to drive results. Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Open new customer rewards accounts and build customer loyalty
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns
- Empathy and respect during makeup and skincare services
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Experience working in a commissioned sales environment preferred
