Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager for Men's Fragrances leads counter operations to create personalized beauty experiences and maximize sales. This role combines hands-on selling and coaching with managing vendor events, scheduling, and customer service. The manager drives business results through in-store and digital selling while maintaining a welcoming, organized counter environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform fragrance demonstrations and product recommendations tailored to customer needs
• Set and achieve individual and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools (text and social media)
• Manage scheduling, execution of vendor events and promotions, and maintain vendor relationships
• Oversee counter operations including organization, cleanliness, and customer-ready presentation
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to build customer loyalty
• Collaborate with team members to foster an inclusive, high-performing counter environment

Requirements

• Passion for beauty and trends with strong knowledge of fragrance and product application
• Proven ability to connect with customers, proactively resolve concerns, and build a customer following
• Experience thriving in a commissioned sales environment and a drive to achieve sales targets
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow-through, and ownership skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with vendors and teammates
