Beauty Counter Manager

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager creates personalized beauty experiences while leading sales and service for an assigned luxury brand. This role balances direct selling, coaching, and vendor collaboration to drive counter performance both in-store and through digital tools. The manager is responsible for achieving sales goals, maintaining a customer-ready counter, and fostering a welcoming environment for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products tailored to customer needs
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts to build customer loyalty
• Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and overall customer-ready presentation

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers, proactively resolve concerns, and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow-through, and initiative with a drive to achieve sales goals
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends and comfort using networking and digital selling tools
• Physical ability to be on your feet for long periods, frequently bend and reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
